inuit doll

An exquisite and unique example of a Bering Strait or North American First Nations Inuit doll. Carved stone face, fiber body, traditional Arctic costume with fine handiwork. Nine inches tall.

Condition notes: Wear to clothes, including significant loss. There is a small hole in the fiber at the inner thigh. The long collar has deteriorated completely. Else, fine, as photographed – a splendid specimen.
