Large octavo in three-quarter leather over marbled boards. Bright gilt lettering and raised bands on spine. Binding tight and square. Contains 30 steel-engraved plates and fashion lithographs. Most tissue guards present. Sheet music present. 641 pages. Scattered foxing throughout. Some wear to covers and spine. Scuffing on boards, rubbing to extremities. Light pencil marks on the blank side of some plates. Small, dark stain on the Index page, a few pages with creasing or dampstaining not reaching text. Some tearing at page edges. Overall a remarkable and handsome copy.
