Very clean for its age.

The following is an excerpt from “Pocket ‘Pearls’” by Karen Blum, Hopkins Medicine – Fall 2020: “By the late 1960s, Robert Cooke, then the director of pediatrics, decided the book should be commercially published in a softcover format. The fifth edition from 1969 (and subsequent ones) included drawings by Baltimore illustrator Aaron Sopher, who was often seen sketching throughout the former Harriet Lane Home and children’s hospital.”
